New Music: Ane Brun - Directions
Life is all about baby steps. One foot in front of the other is sometimes the wisest way to approach a daunting task. That's the idea behind Ane Brun's new track, "Directions."
"Everything is possible, even when the sun don't shine," she coos over Bjork-like rhythms and furious jazz bass explosions. It's the cornerstone of an upcoming fall album-- her first studio release since 2011's It All Starts with One. It's an ace addition to the growing number of creative women toying with ethereal and rugged genres and soundscapes (My Brightest Diamond, Lorde).
