New Album: Oswald - Ride

After releasing the lead single, “Sea Full of Sharks,” which was featured right here on Occur in mid-September, Oswald delivers his debut EP in the form of Ride. The 18-year-old California emcee taps into his conscious side for Ride to bring us a potent blend of thought-provoking lyrics over a refreshing mix of indie pop production.

Choosing to go against the grain and speak on the oversaturation of hate, misogyny and violence within the Hip-Hop community, Oswald’s overall message of peace, perseverance and positive outlooks on life makes him one of the few who are doing their part to preserve the true essence of the culture.

Check out Ride below to get an earful of fresh new music from a fresh new perspective.
