Halloween Rocks!

All Hallow's Eve is upon us, and that means it's time to conjure up some spooky fun. You've already picked out your Miley Cyrus foam finger costume and your haunting jams, so we're suggesting some of our favorite musical moments from holiday-appropriate films. Behold!

The Divine Miss M gets crafty with Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker in 1993's Hocus Pocus. The Sanderson Sisters were a trio of resurrected witches from historical Salem, but they might as well have been a girl group, as shown in this high-energy take on "I Put a Spell on You." Gotta love mom's Madonna get-up, too.

Not a Halloween film but definitely one full of fun sorcery, 2004's 13 Going on 30 is probably best remembered for its gleeful "Thriller" scene. Seeing the future Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) dance giddily to Michael Jackson's maniacal classic is golden.

Halloween's not complete without at least one zombie movie. We prefer the funny ones, so here's a music snob's sweet spot. Note the calmness of Shaun (Simon Pegg) as he goes crate digging for weapons against the undead. Even in the face of death he can differentiate between Prince's better works (Sign o' the Times, Purple Rain) and the fodder (the Batman soundtrack).

Before the Osbournes, America's favorite spooky family was the Addamses. The 1960s goth crew got a 1990s makeover with two major motion pictures and a new theme song courtesy of MC Hammer. Watch the rap jester lose his head while hanging out with Gomez, Wednesday, Fester and Thing. What are some of your favorite musical moments from Halloween movies?
