New Music: Maritime - Milwaukee

Ah, Wisconsin. Home to fine cheeses, all-American beers and one of the best darn indie bands of our time. Maritime - composed of former Promise Ring and Dismemberment Plan players - have just dropped the jangly "Milwaukee" in honor of the hearty city. Maritime fans will groove on the song's familiar downstroke style and Davey von Bohlen's gruff yet soothing vocals. The track and accompanying video serve as the unofficial reverent themes for their beloved Midwest town.

"Milwaukee" comes as a precursor to Maritime's first album since 2011's Human Hearts. They're still plugging away at the work, slated for release on Dangerbird this fall.

Watch the video for "Milwaukee" below and check in with us for updates on the anticipated album.
